Watch Twister and Learn About Emergency Prep

Hold on to your hat. The Bainbridge Metro Park District’s free movie at Battle Point Park on Friday, August 16, is Twister. Although we don’t get too many tornados here in western Washington, the event naturally lends itself to discussion of natural disasters and emergency preparedness, and Bainbridge Prepares will be handing out preparedness information and answering questions before the movie starts.

Attendees can also enjoy lawn games, popcorn, a windy selfie station, a booth staffed by the Kitsap Regional Library with promotional library materials and info., and, of course, the exciting movie starring Helen Hunt and Bill Pullman.

Pre-movie events start at 8, followed by the movie around 9.
