Get a Disaster Hubs Experience—Without the Disaster—June 15

Three volunteers at disaster hub

You’ve heard about the 14 disaster hubs located around the island—the centers where you will go for information and medical care after a large-scale disaster. But what will they be like? What specifically will they offer you?

Now you can find out and also beef up your general preparedness knowledge. June 15, from 1 to 3 p.m., visit our Disaster Hub Open House at Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church.

At the event, informational booths in the parking lot will share information on general disaster preparedness; Map Your Neighborhood; water, sanitation, and hygiene; and wildfire mitigation.

The event is hosted by the Bainbridge Prepares Partnership: Bainbridge Prepares, the City of Bainbridge Island Emergency Management, and the Bainbridge Island Fire Department.

All community members are welcome! Sign up here.

Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church is located at 11042 Sunrise Dr. NE.
