September: Specific Disasters
The disasters we are most likely to face on Bainbridge Island are earthquake, wildfire, landslide, and tsunami. Teach yourself about each and learn what to do to prepare.

Find out what your fire evacuation zone is by looking at this map.
Make sure you have smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors installed in the proper locations and test them regularly.

Your submission will be entered in a drawing to win the September prize: A small fire extinguisher.
You may submit your documentation at any time up until the end of the first Friday of the following month. You may submit early for ensuing months. Remember to stamp your passport for each completed month.
