Riding the Bus? Know What to Do When It Snows
Kitsap Transit is reminding riders that, when it snows—like it might through Sunday—and road conditions become unsafe, they may activate Snow Routes and their Emergency Service Plan.

If Kitsap Transit activates the Emergency Service plan, buses will keep to main roads and will not follow a schedule. Click here to see a map of where the buses will operate.
In addition, Kitsap Transit encourages riders to take these precautions:
If your stop is on a hill, walk to a different stop on flat ground.
Give yourself more time to get to the bus stop.
Dress for cold weather as buses may be running late.
Be careful walking on slippery bus floors.
