KHD Offers Childhood Vaccine Clinic

The strain on medical resources has led to difficulty getting appointments for child vaccinations. The difficulty is even greater for uninsured children and children without a primary care doctor or clinic.

The Kitsap Health District has responded to the situation by launching a children’s vaccine clinic. The soft opening of the clinic happens Wednesday, December 11, from 9 Am to 3 PM. The clinic is located at the Kitsap Public Health District headquarters, 345 6th St., Suite 300, in Bremerton.

No appointment is needed for flu or COVID vaccinations. The clinic will be offering Moderna and Pfizer vaccines for children ages 6 months through 18 years.

You need to make an appointment for other childhood vaccines:

  • MMR

  • Varicella

  • Hepatitis B

  • Tdap/DTaP

  • HPV

  • meningococcal

  • pneumococcal

Call 360-728-2007 to make an appointment.

The vaccines are free—no insurance is needed.
