Next Farm Trip: Sunday, Sept 11 at Peaceful Morning Farm

Join Farm Trips on our next tour of Peaceful Morning Farm, where an all-volunteer staff of teen apprentices, busy working folks, and retirees grow tons of food exclusively for local food banks. Come see why they do it and get ideas for how you, too, can harvest a variety of vegetable and fruit crops year-round.The farm tour itself is shorter this time, followed by an option for a subset of up to ten of our group to help in a brief harvest for Helpline food bank. We may also see and learn about the new farm intern housing built of repurposed materials through a collaboration between community organizations, businesses, and volunteers.Registration required; group size is limited. Register here.Sunday September 11, tour 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.; option for ten volunteers to help harvest at 11:00.8862 NE Lovgreen Road at Highway 305- Maps show this as Butler-Green because they share the property.ย If you have any questions, please contact FarmTrips@hawkapp.com or Carol at 206-331-1979.We're excited to see you at the farms!Farm Trips are a joint project ofย  Bainbridge Prepares and the Bainbridge branch of Kitsap Regional Libraries.
