Wellness Support for You, Financial Support for Ukraine
A member of the Bainbridge Prepares' Wellness Team, Pamela Malo, and colleagues have come up with a way to enhance wellness for the community that also sends much-needed financial assistance to Ukraine. Blossom is a weekend of online wellness workshops March 26–27. More than ten practitioners are volunteering their time so that 100 percent of the attendance fees can be donated to Ukraine relief efforts.Workshop offerings will support body, mind, and spirit.Participants can opt for the Saturday Sampler, attending as many of the workshops as they wish:
- Morning Movement & Meditation
- Grief Tending Through Song & Embodiment
- Ignite Your Joy!
- Be Still and Listen: Unlocking Your Intuition
- Metta Meditation
In the evening, connection games will be followed by a live sound bath to ease participants to sleep. The Sunday Retreat is a half day consisting of a session on core nutrients and developing a wellness plan, followed by a two-hour yoga class. The weekend will conclude with a Closing Ceremony. All money raised will be donated for Ukraine to World Center Kitchen, an organization that provides meals during "humanitarian, climate, and community crises while working to build resilient food systems with locally led solutions. WCK has served more than 60 million fresh meals to people impacted by crises around the world."The suggested donation is $100, but a sliding scale is offered as well.To register for the event, click here.
