Learn about the EMS Levy

Bainbridge Prepares has established numerous partnerships on the island and in the county, but none is more critical to their mission of community preparedness than the Bainbridge Island Fire Department. The BIFD has put on the February ballot an Emergency Medical Service (EMS) levy that is intended to provide ongoing support for their medical service, which is the only 24/7 emergency care available to islanders (Loren Bast and Scott James have both endorsed the levy.)

If you'd like to learn more about the levy, Bainbridge Community Broadcasting has just published their discussion about it with BIFD's Chief Hank Teran and Finance Manager Ed Kaufman. You can listen in here. You can also learn more on BIFD's site.
