Orthopedic Injuries/Field Splinting Class

Wednesday September 6th, 1830-2100 (630pm-9pm),  Bainbridge Island Fire Station 23.  

Instructor:
Jason Jarvis, former U.S. Army Special Forces Medic and Austere Medicine Practitioner.

Topics:
Life threatening ortho emergencies, unstable C-spine, spinal column injury, clavicle fracture, shoulder, elbow and thumb dislocations, rib and pelvic fractures, flail chest, femur fracture, knee sprains, tib/fib fracture, ankle sprain/fractures and more!  We will also learn how to make improvised traction splints!
