Washington Listens: Emotional Support During COVID-19

A new service provided by the Washington Health Care Authority is designed to provide support with pandemic-related stress and emotional fallout caused by COVID-19. People can access the service, which is called Washington Listens, via telephone at 1-833-681-0211. The service accepts calls, messages, texts, or video calls.

Crisis counselors provide callers with "non-clinical psycho-education based support. Callers are directed to nearby community resources such as behavioral health crisis services.

All calls are anonymous. TTY and language access services are available.

Washington Listens was developed through a grant that is funding the support line and 120 counselors.
