There are many ways to get involved in preparing our community for an emergency. Start by thinking about what you like to do and are good at. Then visit our Teams page to see if there is a team that would be a good fit for you.
No matter what else you do or don’t do, make sure your family and your neighborhood are prepared. That is the number-one thing you can do to help because it will mean that, during an emergency, you won’t place an undue burden on our emergency preparedness resources. Visit our Individuals page to find out what you can do to prepare yourself and home. Next, check out our Emergency Supplies lists to make sure you have what you need. Finally, stop in at our Neighborhoods page to learn about the Map Your Neighborhood Program.
