STEP 1: Register on WAServ
WAServ is the Washington State Emergency Registry of Volunteers and it is a registry for citizens who are willing and able to help during disasters and significant events.
Please go to WAServ and click on “Register for WASERV” then “+add organizations” and type “Kitsap” in the search box. Choose BI MRC and fill in your contact information (including mobile number) and your healthcare license details (if applicable).
STEP 2: Complete a Volunteer Application for the City of Bainbridge Island (COBI)
Please download the COBI Volunteer Application here and print it out:
Once you have completed the application please email it to Anne LeSage (COBI Emergency Management Coordinator) at firstname.lastname@example.org, or mail the application to:

STEP 3: We will contact you with more information
Within a week of registering with WAServ and sending in your COBI volunteer application you should receive an email from BIMRC. If you do not please contact us at: email@example.com.
