Veg Club Helps Extend Your Vegetable Garden Season and Yield

lettuceVeg Club, a joint venture of Bainbridge Prepares and the Bainbridge Island Public Library, is devoting its March session to extending the growing season and yield. The Zoom presentation will show you how to

  • Grow earlier, better, and longer with easy-to-make and easy-to-move enclosures that protect early season plants, make heat lovers more productive, and extend your harvest season.
  • Get weeks more of food from your garden with three succession planting strategies.
  • Grow your own vegetable starts outdoors or under simple, inexpensive lights.
  • Thwart slugs!

Use this link to join via Zoom on Tuesday, March 7, from 6:30 to 8 pm.

Veg Club meets the first Tuesday of every month (unless otherwise noted).
