Stop the Bleed: Two Upcoming Classes

Application of tourniquet

Knowing CPR is important—it can save a life. But it’s just as important to learn how to stop bleeding, especially when the bleeding is spurting bright red from an artery or flowing fast dark red from a vein. Knowing what to do quickly could be the difference between life and death, which from a bleed can happen in under five minutes.

Sign up for one of two upcoming Stop the Bleed classes at Bainbridge Island Fire Station 21 on February 16 and March 22. Both classes run from 6 to 8 PM. The classes are open to Bainbridge Prepares volunteers and community members.
